is one of the lucrative businesses one can venture into. What makes it
lucrative? Simply, because it is a service business and involves no much
capital and no technical skill.
Car wash service has been
in high demand in our country today by individuals, motorists, organizations,
government palastatals and others who are very busy with their business or
private affairs and rarely have time for washing their cars after the day work.
Establishing car wash
business does not involve much capital and you will make your return or
breakeven within a short period, it also does not involve much equipment. You
will need to buy or rent an open space around the city where people live, it
won’t cost much, then buy an automatic machine that enables water for washing
the car, this is not compulsory though you can handle it manually using your
bucket or big bowl and sponge. You will also need a car wash liquid soap which
help protect the car body paint, avoid bar soap. And finally water source
(maybe a big tank).

if you work with already established car wash center before establishing your

Lets do some analysis on
projected revenue, for each car washed you charge at least between #500 -
#1000. Assuming you washed up to 6 cars a day as a professional car washer,
what’s your revenue per day #500 * 6 = #3000. Assuming it continues like that
for a month it becomes #3000 * 26 = #78000 and annually it is up to #900000.
Assuming out of this #900000, you were able to save #500000, it is still enough
for you to establish your own car wash center comfortably and employ people to
work for you.
